The SZKD 40 A13 T12 40 CN dowel pin has many practical features. It is equipped with a double non-rotating rod, which ensures that the dowel pin will not rotate during use, ensuring accurate positioning. Its housing is made of a high-strength aluminum flat housing or tube. This material not only has high strength and can withstand certain external impacts, but the flat design is also conducive to installation and use in some environments with limited space.
The positioning pin contains a flat rectangular cylinder with a diameter of Ø 40 mm, which can provide 600/400 N of push and pull force to meet the power requirements in different scenarios. It can also move the rod in the bronze/graphite bushing at the same time. The bronze/graphite bushing has good wear resistance and self-lubricating properties, which helps the rod move smoothly. In addition, the positioning pin integrates a position sensing function, which can monitor and feedback its own position information in real time, so that users can accurately control and adjust it in actual operation.

Retractable Locating Pin Operating Instructions
1. Description
The Retractable Locating Pin is a high-power tool designed for usein locating points in the processing of sheet metal. lt consists of apneumatic cylinder in flat design and a housing with two integratedpiston rod guidings and mounting option at the front.
The Retractable Locating Pin is fitted with an inductive set, whichallows positioning to be controlled with inductive switches.
2. Safety
The Retractable Locating Pin was not conceived as a full toolsupplied ready for independent use and has therefore not been fittedwith its own safety equipment. Only when it is correctly installed in aproduction systemand a correspondingsafety controlsystemisadded, will all safety requirements be met.
Should any faults occur that place personnel at risk, the RetractableLocating Pin is to be switched off immediately. Maintenancemeasures are only to be undertaken when the machine is at acomplete standstill and by suitably qualified specialists.
After maintenance work has been carried out, the protection devicesare to be refitted in the correct way.
3. Assembly of the Retractable Locating Pin
The Retractable Locating Pin is installed by means;of fourcylinder screws and two dowel pins on the cylinder head.
The centering pin manufactured by the customer is secured inthe piston rod receiver with cylinder screws.
Caution:The Retractable Locating Pin was not provided withmeans of adjustment. This must be taken into account whendesigning / manufacturing the consoles / braces.
Create supply of compressed air between pneumatic control andRetractable Locating Pin (connections "N").Caution: For fine adjustment of speed of positioning operation useof external regulating valves is recommended
Inductive limit switch set (T12)
Set plug on socket "C" according to the electrical design of thepneumatic clamp (see circuit diagrams), and tighten.
Caution: Operation with incorrect or too high voltage can lead toshort circuiting and danger to personnel.
Function control with integrated LED as follows:
green ....operation voltage
yellow .......cylinder is retracted
red ............cylinder is extended
4. Adjustment of the piston rod
The unit is equipped with rotatable piston rods to adjust the pistonrod versions from A13 to A23 or A18 to A28 (and vice versa).
In order to rotate the piston rods individually in their guiding, the unitmust be moved into its retracted position. The piston rods are onlyrotatable in the retracted position! Please note, that the piston rodsmay only be rotated by 180°.
It is not necessary to dismantle and adjust the limit switch system.
5.Replacement of limit switch cartridge
Remove limit switch cartridge by releasing the screw "D”"Set new limit switch cartridge and check the switch function.
6. Maintenance
The Retractable Locating Pin is fitted with a view to application inseries production withlow-maintenance bearings and guidesBecause of the closed structure of the Retractable Locating Pin nospecial maintenance is necessary.
Caution: Damage can be caused to the Retractable Locating Pinby cleaning with steam-jet or dry ice.
