The linear unit is equipped with dual non-rotating push rods, a flat housing/pipe made of high-strength aluminum, designed as a flat rectangular cylinder with a diameter of 40 mm, capable of providing 600 Newtons of thrust and 400 Newtons of pull. The two push rods move simultaneously to ensure efficient operation, and run in bronze/graphite bushings, providing smooth movement and excellent wear resistance.
The unit also integrates a position sensor that can monitor the position of the push rod in real time to ensure accurate and reliable operation. The overall design not only focuses on performance, but also takes into account the flexibility of installation, suitable for a variety of application scenarios.

Retractable Locating Pin operating Instructions
1. Description
The retractable dowel pin is a high-power tool designed for locating points during sheet metal processing. The tool consists of a cylinder in flat design and a housing with two integrated piston rod guides and mounting options at the front. The retractable dowel pin is equipped with an induction device, which allows its positioning to be precisely controlled via an induction switch.
2. Safety
The retractable dowel pin is not designed as a complete tool for stand-alone use and is therefore not equipped with independent safety equipment. All safety requirements can only be met if it is correctly installed in the production system and the corresponding safety control system is added. If any failure occurs that may endanger the safety of personnel, the retractable dowel pin should be closed immediately. Only properly trained professionals can carry out maintenance work when the machine is completely stopped. After the maintenance is completed, it must be ensured that the protective device is correctly reset to ensure the safety and reliability of the equipment.
3. Assembly of the Retractable Locating Pin
The Retractable Locating Pin is installed by means;of fourcylinder screws and two dowel pins on the cylinder head.
The centering pin manufactured by the customer is secured inthe piston rod receiver with cylinder screws.
Caution: The Retractable Locating Pin was not provided withmeans of adustment. This must be taken into account whendesigning/manufacturing the consoles / braces.
Create supply of compressed air between pneumatic control andRetractable Locating Pin (connections "N").Caution: For fine adjustment of speed of positioning operation useof external regulating valves is recommended
Inductive limit switch set (T12)Set plug on socket "C" according to the electrical design of thepneumatic clamp (see circuit diagrams), and tighten.
Caution:Operation with incorrect or too high voltage can lead toshort circuiting and danger to personnel.
Function control with integrated LED as follows:
green .......operation voltage
yellow ......cylinder is retracted
red......cylinder is extended
4. Adjustment of the piston rod
The unit is equipped with rotatable piston rods to adjust the pistonrod versions from A13 to A23 or A18 to A28 (and vice versa).
In order to rotate the piston rods individually in their guiding, the unitmust be moved into its retracted position. The piston rods are onlyrotatable in the retracted position! Please note, that the piston rodsmay only be rotated by 180°.
It is not necessary to dismantle and adjust the limit switch system.
5.Replacement of limit switch cartridge
Remove limit switch cartridge by releasing the screw "D"Set new limit switch cartridge and check the switch function.
6.Maintenance
The Retractable Locating Pin is fitted with a view to application inseries production with low-maintenance bearings and guides.Because of the closed structure of the Retractable Locating Pin nospecial maintenance is necessary.
Caution: Damage can be caused to the Retractable Locating Pinby cleaning with steam-jet or dry ice.
